The more I research and speak to different people I am now firmly of the view that Sanofi is behind a takeover or stake in the company. They have been there from day one and helped establish the company and facility. AS obviously gas a strong relationship especially given the clauses in the contract etc.I still believe what's happening now has been planned from long ago and the development of the Imperium was the final task of the R& D team before the next phase and Sanofi moving in. The whole Sanofi Google partnership Re diabetes along with Sanofi ditching Medtronics is just to compelling. Imperium has massive potential and there can be no doubt they developed this product for a specific reason.
Anyhow that's my bet, Sanofi behind the whole thing and years in the making. Depending on what the proposal and structure is this next development could still be very very positive for the company and all if us if we are still part of it.

You could be spot on BP! My gut feeling has been either Sanofi or Sanofi/Becton Dickinson!!
And it plays towards Unilife's favour with several big hitters trying to negotiate I believe!
You'd have to say its the perfect situation for them!!
