Agreed, (re discount and fantasy - though fantasy if you're not the one buying into it may be profitable as there is two opposing views on the side of every trade) actual lowest cost is likely to be determined by things even very good management can't change, such us distance from ore source to customer and the physical characteristics of the ore source like the amount of overburden needing to be removed and the amount of rail between sites etc.
