I think if you go back and check the most recent quarterly against the one prior for downloads versus revenue, then the value in terms of revenue p.a. for new downloads is a fraction of the amount management have awarded themselves for obtaining the downloads in the first place. Not to mention the costs of boiler-room pay-per-click marketing and / or incentives to get the downloads in the first place. If the story of ZIP was fiction, it would be an accounting comedy, but alas it is not.
Next quarterly due now will add an interesting chapter, but it might include a kicker from shareholders buying credit only to find out how unpolished the iOS version is. It seems possible the Android release may have had some early payments into it to trial and cure curiosities.
