    re: went short more
Why do you believe the c#$p that's coming out of his mouth? Why do you give him the attention that he craves? Just ignore him.

Let me put forth my reasons as to why it's a bad idea to short BHP.

    1) The fundamentals for BHP haven't changed - everyone is saying this and it has been confirmed by the 19% price hike for iron ore.
    2) Shares trend upwards.
    3) The drop in BHP's share price is a result of market sentinment and sentiment only. (closely related to 1 above).

Surely you could find a better share to short than BHP? Shorting on BHP, in my view, is very risky - but I'm no professional. That's just my view based on my three assumptions above. If my assumptions are proven incorrect then my argument doesn't hold.

I've bought a lot of BHP and while I could and should have bought more two days ago, my inexperience led me to do otherwise. Nevertheless, I think we can all draw comfort from the Director purchasing $1, 000, 000 worth of shares! Or do you want to take "Ispy"'s word over the director's?
