I would think the government would favour an Australian company rather than an overseas company, wishful thinking perhaps but I presume rack space is fairly similar price. I'm sure the research report mentioned previously included competition threats.
Anyway there are a lot of positives going for NEXTDC at the moment, many contract wins along with management buying over $250,000 worth of stock recently.
I can't see demand for Data storage going backwards anytime soon and with a capable management team in place this should see large growth for quite a while.
