Again, completely disagree. I'm sure that the current available resources don't go over the size of one pipeline, otherwise they would be building a bigger pipe right now. So in your scenario one of those pipelines would be less than half full.
That would make them both economically unviable, unless nearly all the gas went through one.
As I said yesterday, by the time there is need for a second pipeline the cheapest thing would be to lay it adjacent to the first.
If the NT were to accept two tenders one or both of them would cancel the project.
