It is becoming obvious that the banks and the RBA are working in concert. Dampen housing with higher bank rates whilst lowering the rates by the RBA to stimulate the economy. There's not many places left where retiree's can put their money to get a decent return in Aussie so I suspect they'll hang onto the blue chips if not top up at these prices if your looking say 20 years down the track.
