I don't understand your logic: the company doesn't have their market capitalisation: shareholders do. The high market cap is on the EXPECTATION of a good business, just as it is for LINKEDIN and as it was for Facebook and Twitter. The big difference between the former and the latter is that there is advertising business when it comes to internet sites. Where is it for Uber?
There is no doubt Uber is a disruptive business. But will it be a profitably sustainable one? I have my doubts. Particularly when host governments start taxing them (did you hear Uber squeal like pigs when the ATO demanded their drivers pay GST? That's pretty telling).
