ta for ta

Hi folks..

been a while.. just thought I'd add to some of the comments earlier by sharing my recent experience.

Never one to deny there's always a lot to learn... I spent a few months after eating humble pie, buried in learning TA... yep, me :) Mr. 'trading is just burying your nose in charts' investor... ..lol!... and .... Thank fluke!!

Although I'm far from being an expert, even the most rudimentary TA understanding helped me improve returns, but more importantly, avoid serious financial disaster during the recent correction... Oh I got burned... but not to the extent had I still been completely ignorant of TA. As a result thankfully, I've only had to suffer a loss of just over 50% of my overall gain this year, and was able to pick up a few bargains recently... I cringe when I think what could have been.

So thank you very much Macrae, Novicom and Madmacs.. appreciate your persistence in setting me straight..(now!..lol!..been told I'm a little stubborn).. you each provided excellent links and advice which opened the doors of TA and in turn, other doors towards an understanding crucial in this game...
Still have a lot to learn, but am thoroughly enjoying my nose buried in charts...lol!... ta for TA :)
