Have to say my figures were close to Rambo's here - I was hoping for $40-50m (it was never going to be $90m) but to have it all settled is a huge relief. A lawyer I spoke to said that really Samsung could have dragged this out for months to a year with appeals, and the interest costs were not punitive enough ... just a cost of doing business. I count this as a pragmatic win. By my reckoning, the net debt ratio falls from 83.8% at Jun15 to 60.5% and NTA remains at 46c.
