I bought $30K before the ex dividend date after it had dropped 6-7% in 2 days.
I decided to buy another $20K yesterday to average my price down. My current price is $26.56.
I think the reality is the share price will reach the 30's again at some stage. When that is who knows. If it doesn't and it all goes up in smoke, I think the nation will have more to worry about than having lots of money.
Until then, I will keep receiving dividends at at some stage I will have received more money in dividends than my capital loss.
I think we're pretty safe.
