ngbris72 these guys have been drip feeding negative stuff on Arrium from the start of the sale process to try soften up the vendors & sabotage the perceived value of other bidders.
Their mouthpiece/conduit is always the same - Streetalk in the AFR - take it with a grain of salt. I suspect its more a matter that they want to try and get as cheap as possible by spooking lenders & ensuring Arrium is forced to part with it its crown jewels (they are on the record as exploring interest but not necessarily going through with it unless get a cracker price - suitors won't like this - so all a bit of politics and cloak & dagger work through the media.
