What is your opinion of the <=1.5mL wearable injector?
I thought that was an interesting development. Wonder if that was at the request of a client?
"Common patient challenges with such conventional products include patient pain and discomfort, risk of drug wastage and lack of portability. By leveraging the capabilities of our platform-based technologies, we have now provided a wearable injector device for the self-injection of drugs with dose volumes smaller than the 1.5 milliliters. The smaller size of these low dose volume wearable injectors will provide patient discreteness and portability.
Many biologics also have to remain refrigerated, so to reduce the potential of discomfort or the sensation of pain during the injection process, the patient is often encouraged to take the drug out of the fridge and then wait 20 to 30 minutes before use, so it can warm to room temperature. This thereby minimizes the pain for the patient."
