If this was a TO then shareholders would have been notified before the installation of the new board.

My point was that you don't need to hold an EGM to remove the existing board, all you have to do is come up with enough voting power to create the threat of such an EGM, if the directors believe that holding such an EGM would result in their dismissal then they'll rather go quietly.

Ofcourse, the board didn't just all resign on the same day out of the goodness of their hearts. They were ousted by some big name shareholders.

The fact that all the new talent are ex Kinross makes perfect sense, Simon Jackson has simply brought all his mates along with him.

This is completely obvious.
