Considering all available announcements ,press releases and newspaper articles, my bet is on the chinese company , CNPC which one assumes, does not need any assistance. Should this part of my dream scenario come true I believe the rest, a J/V and buying balance of Mereenie could also possibly feature in the deal as the door for further asset sales by Santos is still open.
