Onthenose, I like your thinking - you think about that $40M per year in royalties ($680M / 17 years).
Add to this income from taxes - company tax, payroll, GST, and flow-on boost to local economy, and it wouldn't be surprising to see a substantial $$ contribution from NT Gov.
