Great - thanks for that Megafauna. Re tidal range I don't know what it is there (I think about 2m?) but in say Newquay (nr wavehub) the range is more like 8 metres and channel islands 12m (near st Malo you can get vertigo at low water). So compensating for tidal height vital.
