But I put to you this! What if nickel price stays at these levels for a year or two or three? What if the $AUD actually starts appreciating against historical trends based on one of my previous posts?
You know analysts around the world were beating COAL's chest saying that coal prices were going to go up, so too OIL analysts, that these low prices were temporary and the bull would be back.
There is nothing to suggest to me that there will be a major change in nickel price, demand/supply fundamentals for the short and medium term. There will be just as much supply tomorrow as there is today. One mine closes, another that has been in development since 2011,2012,2013 and 2014 will open or has come on line. If it weren't the case the nickel price would be going north, not south. Remember that markets look forward.
