are cfd gains considered taxable, page-40

re: gst registration OK since we have tried to draw the bow so long as to wonder if earnings from cfd's can be treated as winnings from gambling - Ill try and stretch it a tad further

Since Metastock and other charting packages/accounting software is so expensive -how would the ATO look at a trader travelling to Bali to pick up half a dozen programs @ say ~$1.50 each instead of anything from several hundred each to a thousand or more - could the travel and accomodation be treated as tax deduction?

ps I dont expect a serious reply unless it would work lol
