I apologise in advance for my lack of knowledge, but can someone explain to me in "sharemarkets for Dummies" terms what the buyback means to a small(ish) investor? Am I compelled to sell my shares or is it voluntary? I have 50,200 shares and the dividend has always been a good supplement to my income, (even this years!) and I really don't know much about all this. Cheers
