Algo trading/bot trading is not illegal but if any one bothers to watch the individual sales it is apparent, depending the action on the sell or buy side the price goes up or down
I use it as a guide the only thing to be careful of is when to get out, or in.

The ASX says that it does not effect the market and I suppose that's true but I still class it as an illegal type of activity as it is a form of trading not available to every one and on that basis should be banned
The vast majority of trades now are based on that procedure
