TasFoods Limited (formerly OnCard International Limited) (Company) has received a notice from Tasmanian Land Company Limited (TLC) stating that, ‘with effect from ... 21 November 2015’, the condition of the sale agreement to acquire the assets of The Van Diemen’s Land Company (VDL) which requires the consent of the New Plymouth District Council to the disposal of those assets ‘will not have been fulfilled’ and the sale agreement ‘will therefore terminate’.
It's really hard to argue with that exit clause.
