Serious answer to a lighthearted question, this only works if you have 500K shares or more.
Sit the wife down and put a deal to her.
Tell her that at current value you have 500,000 shares valued at 16.5cents each = $82,500
and then tell her that by high summer of 2017 you expect them to be $1 each = $500,000
if you are right, you will book 2 business class airfares for her and her bestfriend to New York
you will also book 10 nights at Trump Plaza in New York and 10 nights at John Hopkins in San Francisco
on her way home. Cost $16K airfares, $7,500 at Trump, $6,000 at John Hopkins, outlay for you $29500.
You will also look after kids and dogs and mother inlaws etc.
If you are wrong and they are still worth only $82,500, you will sell half and honor your deal.
If they are worth north of $1 per share, you will throw in $20K spending money.
Deadline...May 1st 2017....she can go July/August.
You will have an Allie , not an enemy in the house. You will be her hero either way.
