PNV has slightly less than one year's cash runway.
The company says it’s currently in discussions with multinationals with respect to Novopore negative pressure wound therapy. It says there is also a multinational partner interested in US rights to BTM in surgical wounds. The balance sheet will need to be strengthened for those negotiations, imo.
Additionally, the company says it wants to quickly pursue other applications of its technology, such as hernia repair, breast implants and pelvic support. The BARDA grant certainly won’t cover those pipeline projects.
Hence the need to raise more funds now.
