My experience with brokers is while they are accumulating for higher net worth clients* they will not reveal their intentions. They are likely to issue a negative report if they are shorting the stock while accumulating. It's a classic and why the market is so loved and trusted. And why we should take the SP at face value (Not).
*They can use shorting as a device to accumulate and it's very easy to disguise the ultimate beneficial holder of a stock. This much has even been admitted by our resident expert.
Once a broker is finished accumulating they will suddenly throw the switch to positive on the report. Just IMO.
This is why retail investors are always getting hammered. IMO.
