I find it particularly interesting that the majority here seen to be obsessed with short term price movements? Perhaps this phenomenon is reflective of the following:
-HC is primarily a stock market forum.
-There is now a comparatively large number of people buying/selling property within a short term timeframe; attempting to "time' the market.
-Post-modern Australia's mantra is "I must have it now!"
If, however, you have bought property with the ultimate aim of owning it outright and thus creating a future income stream it matters not what occurs over the short term. i.e. Over the next 10-20 years rents will continue to rise.
