Your stats would be out of wack if there was a French type suicide terror attack in Australia, reminds me of the Tidal wave debate, why should we not be able to build on the beach as there is only one tidal wave every 200 years ...............?
However in this case unlike tidal waves which have an average incident rate over the milleniums that is static, the terrorist victim body count is increasing globally each year .
But Like tidal waves where walls are built and people isolate themselves from the threat one can also prevent/reduce terrorist attacks although currently it is more pc to condemn the barrier builders who are trying to save our sorry posteriors .
