For example, no nobody denies that CO2 is plant food. But CO2 does more than grow plants.
Yes, volcanic activity is important to Earth's ecosystem. It contributes to the baseline greenhouse effect. What happens when human emissions are added on top of that effect? Higher ambient temperature? Or does the atmosphere know the difference between a human methan molecule and a volcanic methan molecule?
