If only that were really the case. If the sophs are accumulating they must be really hungry given they have just taken a placement of over 300m shares plus presumably the shortfall. Maybe they like to average down as much as the rest of us. And the shorts are just waiting you rteckon to see if they can close lower? With the possibility of days to weeks at most before significant news. That's a ballsy play!

But any buying by sophs and instos is surely very low volume and there is nobody else left to buy so no upward pressure is how I see it. Most of us are full up and have used all of our "rsik capital".
