good times ahead... I got some more today at 9c and looking to increase over the coming weeks... only a matter of time before serious gains are seen here. I think once the next qtr ann comes out and profits are seen... with the resource upgrade it just cant stay at these levels.

    and for some news....

``Yesterday's announcement by the Fed provided enough security on the growth outlook for investors to jump back into metals,'' Deutsche Bank AG analysts led by Peter Richardson said in a report today.

``Some inflation risks remain,'' the Federal Open Market Committee said in a statement after a two-day meeting in Washington. ``The extent and timing of any additional firming that may be needed to address these risks will depend on the evolution of the outlook for both inflation and economic growth, as implied by incoming information.''

``The Fed will leave its door open for further actions, but I think they are probably done,'' former Fed governor Robert Heller said yesterday in an interview after the decision.

    U.S. Demand

Interest-rate futures show traders saw a 65 percent chance of an increase to 5.5 percent in August, down from 78 percent before the decision and 93 percent last week.

Ten of 21 analysts, investors, traders and consumers surveyed yesterday by Bloomberg News said the metal will rise next week, on speculation demand in the U.S. will keep growing. Six said it will be little changed and five said it will fall.

As well as increased demand, supply constraints may also buoy copper prices in the coming months. Inventory monitored by the LME fell 350 tons, or 0.4 percent, to 93,575 tons today, the exchange said. Stockpiles have fallen 16 percent this month and are equal to about two days of global consumption.

Due to high demand ``there is hardly any stock, only two days of copper worldwide and that has led to extreme volatility and to new price records,'' said Stefan Weiser, head of commodity investor sales at Goldman Sachs Group Inc. in Singapore.
