greenland ice sheet:slipsliding away, page-9

So I did visit "realclimate" and the first thing I read was this

"Sea levels were indeed much higher in the distant, warmer past but the timing of earlier sea level rise is very uncertain. From the point of view of societal and ecosystem adaptation, the timescale over which ice sheets might disintegrate, which may be on the order of centuries or millennia according to the two extremes posited in the literature"

Then having read masses on how a asteroid threw so much crud into the atmosphere 65 million years ago it became prime suspect in wiping out the dinosaurs by among other thing changing the temprature to an extreme.

As another poster said temperature changes seem a little cyclic so the greenies are going to have to work a little harder to make this black duck feel guilty about changing the worlds temperature specially as it is proven that Mother Nature has herself wiped basically all living creature off the face of the earth up to five maybe eight times.
Give it a bit of thought, there are bigger things at play here than a few mere mortals acting like the animals we actually are.
