Now this is something from left field.... There are two types of raising:
1. Company is desperate for cash - I don't believe this is the case with comments (just last week) such as on page 2 of their accounts "with a very strong balance sheet and substantial cash on hand..."; or
2. Cash required for a material, company changing transaction - I believe this is more likely, however, I do note this this was not mentioned on todays release (only the capital raising point).
If it is point 2 above, it goes along with the rest of the sentence I quoted in point one "...the management team of TSI India was progressing multiple discussions regarding the expansion of ATM networks for various banks, as well as seeking outright e-transaction network acquisitions. it was envisaged that significant network expansion for the Company could be achieved from these discussions."
I will look on the positive side and say that this is transformational.
