    Seat 1A,

Or maybe it should be seat 51A by now the gold market's performing so badly. You were warned though, you should be buying me a drink.

Property markets rarely actually crash, some did in the GFC, but that was mostly stupidity, similar to the enthusiasm noted here as gold hit US$1,900 and it was supposed to be blue sky all the way to $10,000.
If anything there will be a levelling off or a slight decline in property for a few years.

Chinese are still abandoning the dictatorship, general poverty and pollution in China in record numbers, problem is at the moment getting their money out, the government has tightened up there's so much cash going out, even the local mob runs an FX agency. I wouldn't be at all surprised if the chinese are using gold to get their money out, the most desirable destination of course is the USA.

Anyway, I've got busy day ahead, so I will leave you with this prediction from Forbes of US$700 if gold breaks US$1,000. The fun's only just started, there's an outfit called Cash Converters where you can pawn your suit if it gets hand to mouth.

It's pretty grim for silver too, I hope you haven't got any of that stuff.
