    Scarpa,

The Market Cap reflects the value the shareholders place on the company. If the shareholders are misinformed or uninformed about the assets of the company then the Market Cap doesn't necessarily reflect the true value of the company. My question is whether it is possible for any shareholders now to say what Lynas is truly worth when the management values a kilogram of rare earths at less than two cents.

As I asked before, does anyone know what the value of Mt Weld is? I only know its misstated at $0.021 per kilogram. Does anyone feel that 58,243 Million dollars is a fair price for 2.549 Billion kilograms of REO at Mt Weld?

What we're seeing in the Market Cap is a value based on financial reports that carefully skirt placing a value on the biggest asset Lynas has, that being Mt. Weld. We know based on the report quoted above that the quantity of REOs exists; we just don't know the current value and without that any Market Cap is a guesstimate at best.

The value of Mt Weld is not a constant but has a certain value based on market conditions. Like gold, REOs have value that rise and fall based on demand. I'm not looking for the amount of profit to make from the mine. I am trying to figure the value of the mine, which I believe is a significant amount higher than 58 Million dollars.
