By far the best approach would be for the Govt to have a website showing us all how we can contribute.
Best cars, diesel vs petrol,
Light bulbs, etc
Which brands are best.
But they must be right!!

I have bought some osram 10w LED with a 30,000 hour apparrent life span, died within weeks. At 28 dollars clearly a waste of money.

Qld govt gave out some free chinese fluoro bulbs when bligh was in power. These bulbs got hot, took forever to warm up, and only lasted a year. They were a crap choice, like all other decisions she made.
