Royalty plays can be problematic. I know one company in the m-payment space and another in the chip space that had half decent looking patent families. In both instances the bigger players went over-the-top, breached the patents. One ran out of money in the three year court case and the other will do the same next year.

That's not to say the same thing will happen to XPED's one patent but you have to plan for it. CR
