On 10 Nov announcement of GM, MEL said:
"We wish to advise that three of Metgasco’s top shareholders, who together control more than 18%of the issued shares, have advised that they support the Board’s recommendation."
On 13 Nov ERM Notice says that on the 13 Nov ERM had disposed of its 12.73% holding in MEL.
So I am curious to know:
1. whether ERM's 12.73% parcel is included in the 18% of Yes votes as advised by MEL
2. whether the new s/h who bought the ERM parcel will be voting within that 18%. Note Keybridge bought 6.42% of the ERM parcel, so the balance is unaccounted for.
3. imho, that statement regarding the voting intentions of that 18% are material. If it were not material to the consideration of other shareholders, they simply would not have included it so prominently in that ASX release.
So the question is, do MEL shareholders need to be informed whether that statement above still applies???
