Most of you have already explained the risk associated with A1 protein, which is very detailed in most cases, let me try to simplify this for others. A1 protein is shown to be contributor towards 5 major diseases. Autism and Schizophrenia are in there. This isn't a debate anymore, its pure science. Nobody is going to take risks or challenge it now, expect some media. Children are very susceptible to A1 protein and no parents would like to take risks.

Lets me shed light on another scenario. Cows that haven't been cross-bred or mutated, producing A2 protein only milk naturally produce less milk, so this makes cost of production higher and pushes retail price higher.
I'll leave climatic factors for some other day.
