Having read all todays posts it seems to me that nickoo is one of the few who has an idea.
When I see someone abusing another for an opinion on a share price I see someone who has more AMP shares than they are comfortable with and either bought late in the recent rally or has held for years and can't spot a long term down trend if its painted on them.

Funny, when SGW had a capital raising at $7.50 under the guise of expansion you would have been committed for suggesting that a year later you'd be lucky to get $2 a share. AMPs share issue at what looks like will be around $5. I'll be very interested to see how many are going to throw more cash into this one.

Work it out on its financials. What is a $2.5 billion dollar write down going to do to the balance sheet? Then look at its pathetic quarterly profit released today after having already taken a bath last season and I would suggest a $5 share price is being generous. Should the FTSE fall much more AMP is not looking pretty.

and whats the bet after tomorrows plummet first thing we'll see punters moving in thinking its hit rock bottom. Some people just don't learn.
