    Sounds like some assay results are not consistently repeatable

    Sounds like it's not just that simple either.


    '..more detailed analytical work':

    Assaying over smaller intervals? Assaying for a greater range of elements? Assaying by a greater range of methods?

    It's all very vague and unspecific.
