    Russeth should be sacked......IMHO

PERTH businessman John McMa nus, father of Logie-winning TV entertainer Rove, is preparing to call a shareholders meeting to axe the board of explosives, narcotics and weapons detection technology company QRSciences after a fiery confrontation yesterday.

Mr McMan us, who claims to have lost $800,000 on the company, said during a head-to-head battle with directors at a general meeting in Perth yesterday that he had received 500 calls from fellow disenchanted shareholders following a mailout last week.

July 4 proved an appropriate date for the meeting, which was called to approve a placement and share consolidation, as the fireworks started soon after the meeting opened and continued for the next two hours.

Perhaps the company should have considered installing one of its own explosive detection devices to screen shareholders on the way in.

Mr McMan us urged shareholders to stay behind after the meeting closed and directors left the room. It was then that he revealed his plan to overthrow the board, telling shareholders he had lost confidence in the company's directors.
