Typically good news would be pre-market on a Tue or Wed with bad news post market on a Friday. That is how a IR guy once explained it to me.

I would expect that once a deal is signed it would be announced in compliance with NASDAQ, ASX, SEC and other governing bodies. Since this is not dependent on markets a deal could be announced Christmas eve or New Years eve. If I was to guess we will hear before Dec 15 if they want it to close before Dec 31st. Frankly I'm surprised there has not been announcement so far this week but if there are multiple parties that could slow down the process to molasses speed.

If there is value in UNS and multiple parties competing then I suspect a good deal will get done. Just the contracts announced so far would suggest a good deal.

Additionally if there is good value there then I would suspect management would be kept in place.
