It is posts like yours that make me come back to Hotcopper occasionally.

Your heading and deduction brilliantly summarises the situation in my opinion. Could the current situation almost qualify for the term of "management assisted buyout??"

I just cant see how I can add to your comments without the risks associated with getting sued for deformation etc if I wrote what I think has happened and what the situation is.

In my opinion the JV at Henty etc sought of spoils an outside party bidding for the company I would have thought??

In the back of my mind is a hope that another party will make a blocking bid and then we will end up with a joint bid and asset split somehow. I only briefly looked at the scheme and don't like what our directors have signed to.

Anyway it is up to gamer posters than me to comment on what they think is happening.

I think value is well north of 2.9cents per share in several months time.

I don’t think people could expect investors to buy more of these shares with the risks associated with the all the trading activity (volume) a couple of months back and the half cent dividend causing me to raise my red flag (in the months previous to these events the board had said they needed more money to develop Dargues …. the next minute they’re handing out a dividend.)
