And another thought I had with respect to the ongoing basin exploration plan:

Quiet early in the piece, it was stated somewhere that one of the reasons for the planned distant production start was that they didn’t want to go ahead until they had a pretty fair idea of what the whole basin held, so they could plan their development approach in the most appropriate way for the basin as a whole.

So I have often wondered whether, having proved up SNE as a firm commercial base, rather than continue to incrementally prove up around SNE eg 3 wells on Sirius, 3 on Soleil, FAN etc etc they might just put one well down on each of the shelf prospects including further afield just to get a feel for what is there without actually proving it up as they went. ie sizing up contingent resources at the least possible cost without actually spending more money testing and appraising as they go.

Not really part of my knowledge base that, just speculating.
