Drillships are costing 600- 800 million at the moment depending on the specs.
There are some drilling companies actually cancelling orders mid way through the build and forfeiting the deposit/ progress payments etc.........its carnage out there at the moment.....we are very lucky to be dealing with companies of substance at the moment.
Theres a lot of defaulting going on out there !!!
