Average Joe, thanks for your insights, although I have some regard for T/A & regression analysis techniques I find charting outdated for what is required by the astute speculator today. A higher level of emphasis is placed on better understanding the leadership qualities & economic moat a company offers. Charting IMO is just a lead indicator best utilised retrospectively & responsible for many financial losses on the market. However, on a lighter note timing is critical its a bit like having unprotected s** you just got to know when to pull out as it can be expensive.
