I accept your point, but the main thrust of my sentiment on the other post is I should sell every Oct/Nov and buy back at the end of summer if it's been a benign cyclone/wet season.
Moreover, like most Insurers, they struggle to find a decent return on their invested reserves. The returns on premium bonds are pitiful, and junk bonds are downright dangerous.
Also I've been a holder for 12 years but no longer insure with them. Too expensive. For the last 5 years have found better deals elsewhere.
