Agree with what you say - SPZs area of expertise are the sensors and data. The 'one stop shop' in terms of 1 app is important in my view. As a consumer, I'd want to have 1 app that handles all the parking needs, not an app for each council. Having 1 app makes the 'moat' a little big bigger - less incentive for councils/consumers to leave, due to network effects. Still early days though - the company needs to consistently demonstrate cash flow positive results first!
