July 10: (RWE Australian Business News) -
Working Systems Solutions Ltd (ASX code: WSS) has signed four new
contracts to provide a solution to send electronic insurance claims
directly to MBF.
Work has commenced for Mayo Private Healthcare Group in New
South Wales and Eye-Tech Day Surgeries Southside, Tri-Rhosen Day
Surgery, and Toowoomba Day Surgicentre in Queensland to e-switch their
e-PAS (enhanced-Patient Administration System) billing module with MBF.
E-switch is WSS's middleware application that provides the
interoperability between the healthcare provider and MBF's Electronic
Data Interchange (EDI) requirements.
EDI allows the transfer of information from the health
provider's e-PAS to outgoing claim forms, eliminating any re-keying of
information.
It reduces administrative costs by changing from a paper-based
process to an electronic system. The direct transactions between the
hospital and health fund cuts out unnecessary transaction fees.
