I would have to ponder that question more myself, but the approaches provide differing treatments. Some indications like HIV were attacked in a way that HIV only can be. Although, as Hoyland pointed out, the next step of calimmune is to attack the virus directly.
Some indications may require gene silencing. Some may require or could do better with stem cell therapy. It all depends on the indication really. Hep C was a no brainer since it is an RNA virus, and more directly silenced than Hep B will be being a DNA virus.
I wouldn't say stem cell vs ddrnai, one being necessarily better than the other. But in terms of current treatments with pharmacological approaches, ddrnai can offer a potentially enormous novel way to treat disease as we see with TT-034. Sometimes I just look at the presentation slides showing the mech of action and dream of the possibilities.
To me, Benitec potentially has a Tesla product in a Chevy/Ford world if you catch my drift.
